Privacy Policy

This policy describes data processing on EmailExtractorTool.org. You can use the tool without creating an account. Do not submit content that you are not authorized to process.

• Text: pasted text is processed in your browser.
• TXT, CSV and DOCX files: supported files are parsed in your browser and are not uploaded for extraction.
• PDF files: PDFs use a server fallback after you choose Extract Emails. The file is processed in memory for that request and the application does not write it or the extracted addresses to persistent storage.
• Website URLs: the submitted URL is sent to our server, which retrieves the public page and returns extraction results. Credentials, private-network destinations and non-standard ports are blocked.
• Domain checks: when domain validation is enabled, up to 30 unique domains are sent to our server for DNS checks. This does not contact a mailbox and cannot prove that an address exists or accepts mail.

Extraction history is off by default. If you enable it, the selected history mode and retention period are stored in your browser's local storage. “Statistics only” stores counts and source type; “Full local history” also stores extracted addresses and source labels. You can clear this data from the History tab or your browser settings.

Our hosting and application infrastructure may process IP address, request time, requested path, browser information, response status and security signals needed to deliver and protect the service. Application error messages are designed not to log submitted file contents or extracted addresses. Infrastructure providers may retain technical logs under their own retention and security practices.

When product analytics is enabled, we use Umami to measure page visits and a small set of product events. Event properties are restricted to the selected mode or option, stable error categories, export format, history preference, coarse count, input-size and duration ranges, and Core Web Vitals metric names, quality ratings and navigation types. We do not send exact Web Vitals values, metric IDs, PerformanceEntry details, pasted text, uploaded file contents, filenames, submitted URLs, domains or extracted email addresses as product-event properties. The analytics script honors the browser's Do Not Track setting. Browser or network-level information may still be processed by the analytics provider when its script is loaded.

The homepage may use Google AdSense. Google and its partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, collect IP addresses or use other identifiers to deliver, measure and protect advertising. Depending on your location, choices and the publisher's AdSense settings, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services on Google's partner sites information page. Where required, consent choices are provided through a Google-certified consent management platform configured in AdSense. You may also use the “Privacy & cookie choices” control in this site's footer when that service is available.

We do not sell submitted content or extracted email addresses. Data is disclosed only as needed to operate the hosting, analytics, advertising and security services described above; to comply with law; or to protect users, the service and our rights.

• Keep extraction history disabled or clear locally stored history at any time.
• Use browser controls to block or clear cookies and site storage; blocking may affect ads or parts of the service.
• Use the available consent control to revisit advertising choices where required.
• Contact us to ask about this policy or applicable privacy rights. We may need enough information to understand and verify a request.

The extraction APIs do not intentionally persist submitted content or extracted addresses. Technical logs and third-party service data follow the applicable provider's retention settings. This general-purpose tool is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly ask children for personal information.

We may update this policy when the service or its providers change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
